An excellent elementary school in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area is weeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for a current position opening. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs while working within a collaborative and student-focused team.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and goals

Provide direct instruction and academic interventions in both inclusive and resource settings

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success

Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification (or eligibility)

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Experience developing and implementing IEPs preferred
